Went to ER late Saturday afternoon, had a minimal wait. Nurses Courtney and Ashley, as well as Dr. Jason Kahn, were personable and professional, and made me feel comfortable as I went through the process of testing and diagnosis, which was done efficiently. The ER is never fun, but these staff made it as tolerable as possible. I should note that other (administrative) staff were also both pleasant and helpful.

My husband Who is 54 years old? has gone there twice in the past two weeks. He has horrible breathing problems trachea bronchular Malaysia is his diagnosis the steroids he takes to breathe, have put so much weight on him. He went to the hospital because his ankles are probably triple the size they normally are so are his calfs and his stomach. You can clearly see he is just so bloated and struggles to breathe. These doctors refuse to think outside the box,, said there was nothing wrong with him and sent him home. Never mind the horrific pain he is in from the neuropathy in his feet. They did absolutely nothing for him. Either time he was there and he didn't wanna go. He argued with me said they're not going to do anything for me and he was right. They really need to get some better doctors ,ones that actually care I have gone there my whole life and I've never found one that's willing to just sit and listen to you and maybe try to figure something out. My advice is skip that hospital and get straight to Boston or even Falmouth Boston preferably a lot of people share the same opinion as I do about this hospital.

I have been admitted to CCH for colorectal cancer multiple times this year. The nursing staff is great. Especially the oncology nurses. Hannah Molesky in Oncology really listens to a patient's symptoms and tries to think outside of the box to fix your problems, instead of dismissing you. Also a huge shout out to Steve from the kitchen, throughout the year he was so helpful in making the most of my restricted diets. ------ 5 stars for every department except for the emergency room. Their team and radiologist missed a stage 3, tennis ball sized tumor in my rectum TWICE in a ct scan done at the ER. This prolonged by diagnosis by 5 months. My doctors looked at the ct scans after I was diagnosed and stated it was clearly visible at the time I went to the CCH ER.

OMG what a wonderful and beautiful hospital. First time using their facilities as my father was feeling sick and we brought him to the ER. Very impressed with their services and there staff , plenty of free parking. We brought my father to the ER and the staff were kind and just wonderful. The inside of the ER is very bright, big and spacious. They had all their stations in the middle of the floor (Open concept) and all the rooms surrounding them. My father had a room right away in the ER, after all the test were completed it was determine my dad was suffering from gall bladder disease. He was admitted within a couple of hours and Dr. Kalliath performed surgery the next day, he had a wonderful room and they took care of him like gold. The rooms were spacious and bright, he could order his breakfast, lunch and dinner out of their menu. I must say their menu selection is very good. We are so blessed this hospital was here and the way the entire staff treated my father and DR. Matthew Kalliath were just outstanding. ALSO if you happen to pass the Mugar cafeteria and love Chocolate pudding, you MUST get one or two.

As a lifetime Cape Codder, I've always known how bad CCH is. Over the past 65 years I've needed them several times. Unless it's a cold or a clean bone break they're okay. They know what to do if you get a bad sunburn or glass in your foot. I can't count the number of mistakes they've made in my immediate family alone, many life threatening. A long time ago we realized we should just go to Boston, or at least Plymouth. I'm a senior now, and I was in need of a Knee Replacement. Getting to Boston and back is much harder at my age. I read the accolades about the joint care center and reluctantly decided to give them another chance. Worst mistake I ever made. In November of 2025 they did my total knee replacement. They disregarded serious known allergies and I don't know if I'll ever be able to play ball with my dog again. If you're a real Cape Codder you also know suing them will cost you everything and they'll have you in court for decades. GO OFF CAPE! CCH treats you like cattle, they rush you though painful surgeries and send you home. If you any issues, it's a $150 ER copay, Once you're home they forget you exist until they get a reason to bill you again. It's the McDonald's of healthcare. We have world class healthcare 2 hrs away.
