Had a great experience with giving birth at Charlton. Couldn't have been happier with the nurses I had and the dr's I spoke with. Even with the staff with giving you a meal three times a day. They make you feel at home and that's hard to do when you are in a hospital setting. I couldn't give it the overall 5 star rating only because I feel they need to at least upgrade the sleeping quarters for the coaches, partner, husbands. Whoever is there to support the mother. Both in delivery room and postpartum room. Also the postpartum room seemed small with all the nurses and Dr's that come in and if you have visitors not many place for them to sit and visit. I do recommend a big shelf in the bathroom where you can put all your postpartum after care essentials on. There was not much space in the bathroom for me to keep it in there. Overall I would choose Charlton to give birth again if I end up having another child.

Please do not go to this emergency room if you have something other than a broken leg, Cut or scrape. You'll get better care at urgent care. The non communication between the emergency department and your regular doctors including oncology should be connected and they are not. Please be aware and very careful when you go to this emergency room.

I had the worst experience with the nurses at this hospital my girlfriend had a seizure late November 1st we got her and an ambulance and I followed. Upon arrival I had parked it the wrong place (where the ambulances park to get her in.) I get out while on the phone informing her family and what seems like a random person in a flanel starts yelling that I can't park there. With no ID or credentials showing soi ignore and continue waking towards the ambulance to ask how she is and reasure her then the driver starts yelling then she pops open her flannel to show the concealed credentials. If this nurse would of talked to me instead of escalating this incident would of been avoided. #2. Once im got into the ER THE EMT AND THE NURSE had already spread rumors of me to the ER FLOOR ( because I made a mistake of ignorance and the nurse escalated a emotional and high anxiety situation) My girlfriend nurse started to say she was gunna start on the paper work for test. So say were gooding to need to get an MRI to. She proceeded to tell me they dont do MRIs. I immediately tell her that we're going to go to a hospital that does because it is important after a epileptic episode. She immediately said i heard you wers problem got security and I was kicked out. If making sure you loved ones get the testing they need is a problem, thats a problem. Then tried to not let anyone else In because it's easier to manipulate a person thats scared and alone with no one to fight for them. THIS NURSE WILL DO THIS AGAIN AND ONE DAY SOMEONE WILL GET HURT OR POTENTIALLY DIE BECAUSE THEY DENIED TREATMENT.

The emergency room is a nightmare.... Triage is a joke... they place everyone in the waiting room... people throwing up for hours. The Elderly suffering in pain, my husband with cardiac symptoms waited 4hours with active chest pain... We ended up leaving after being told he would be there in the waiting room for another 4 hours exposed to the toxic pit they call their waiting room. They stated is was stable... after very little testing, a blood test, no heart attack enzymes, X-rays , and an ekg.... The community of Fall Rivers has expanded exponentially, they need to invest money into their emergency area... There should be a separate area for flu, stomach issues. And for people with injury or heart issues should be separated. Keeping people who are well, no active flu, RSV, stomach viruses, covid should not be forced to sit for hours in a toxic environment. They need more help, both with registration, and triage. There needs to be more nurses and doctors on duty. We are very happy with the hospital after your processed and admitted, but the emergency room is bedlam.
