Tufts Medicine Diabetes + Endocrine Care - Dracut

I see Dr. Lokhandwala for hyperthyroidism. She takes the time to explain my test results, listens to me, and makes sure I understand my treatment. I have always had a positive experience at my appointments.

Dr shilpa deshmukh is the laziest, inconsiderate doctor. My husband has type 2 diabetes and asked about the semaglutamide, she told him to control his eating. Mind you the medication is meant for type 2 diabetes and he has had very low testosterone for years & we've been trying for a baby so he asks what he can do to get it down. She told him since he got his monjaro from his primary to go to his primary for his diabetes from now on. I work in a lab and have never seen a doctor that just doesn't want to do her job. My primary was appalled. Highly so not recommend!

I have been kicked out from this practice by nurse practitioner Charmy Patel.,, The reason for kicking me out of her practice is because my diabetes are better. At the time of last appointment, my A1c was actually going up from 6.2 to 6.9. What happened to medicine that prevents worsening of situation with the health? So much for the "healthcare" by Charmy Patel. Go ahead ,when your diabetes becomes critical ,affects your cardio health and everything else then you come back. Can you believe this?

I have had good experiences at this facility. I have had type 1 diabetes for 57 years. Dr Zwerling was excellent. He retired and now I see Dr Lokhandwala. I am impressed with her knowledge & professionalism.

I am posting this under my husband's google acct as I don't have one. My name is Fran P. and I am a patient of Dr. Deshmukh at the Diabetes and Endocrine Center in Dracut. After being on a prescription the doctor prescribed for me, the insurance has decided after 7 months, they are no longer going to cover it. Great! I won't go into details of dealing with this as far as my pharmacy and insurance company is concerned as I know everyone has been at that frustrating point. BUT, I do need to shout out to Kasey who works with Dr. Deshmukh for telling me simply she will handle it at first phone call to their office. It was such a relief, I can't explain. I called my doctor not knowing what she, if anything, could do or who she should contact. So Casey's professional handling of the issue with me was indeed very much appreciated!!!!! End of the run around.
