My kids have been with Dr Shusterman since the year he started, 1999/2000. Dr Shusterman has been an amazing doctor. My daughter even cried when she aged out of being his patient. Dr Shusterman is the best!

Currently living in Boston, came to this location for a sooner appointment. Initial visit was standard, asked questions but really no solution to chronic back pain. Scheduled me to come for a cupping at 9 am 2 weeks later. I show up today, sit in the doctors office for 20 minutes - only to have the nurse come in to tell me the doctor can't take me today because it will "set him back for the day" , saying he preferred to do it during his "lunch". They said the cuppings are typically scheduled for noon . I understand scheduling issues sometimes arise, but I was extremely disappointed and unimpressed given the amount of effort I took to get to this location, and expressed how much the pain has really been bothering me. They should not have signed me up for this time slot given this information, and they should have called me to reschedule this appointment, instead it was a waste of time to take time off of from my job to come to the appointment.

I have been coming to this location for about 2 years. I had switched from the Kenmore location due to Dedham being closer to home. The doctors and nursing staff are amazing and I would not have given the location 3 stars, let alone written a review if the entrance receptionists weren't so horrendous. As a previous receptionist myself, I can completely sympathize with the position and give grace. But at some point, when ALL of my interactions with the front desk staff have never been pleasant, it's a real issue, and it's been with different team members each time. A warm smile, an initial greeting and eye contact, can go a long and means a good rest of the day for yourself and the patient. Please give a refresher training on customer service and front desk etiquette to your front desk ASAP!

The providers I've seen here have left a lot to be desired when it comes to treating patients as humans. Nor have they taken the time to listen and have generally had poor "bedside manner". Maybe they're all way too busy and are wicked stressed? Regardless, it's not acceptable. Would be one star but the support staff have been pleasant.

Wonderful compassionate care, highly recommended! Dr Shusterman ( pediatric pcp) is by far the best provider we have encountered, he listens intently, cares deeply/ holistically and is very thorough. We have had exceptional care at this practice including front desk, nursing and direct care staff! Dr Shusterman and his team rise above through incredible leadership, training and service :))
