Though Dr. Hickey is a kind man and I like him as a person I've moved on for a primary care. There are several reasons but none more important than his lack of knowledge on new science. My new doctor sat with me for 45 minutes and listened to everything I had to say and within weeks he had me feeling young again. I'm 42. I stressed to Dr. Hickey over several years, literally 15 years now that I'm doing the math, that something wasn't right. After much of my own research then asking him for studies and tests, this research directed he denied them all on the basis of his blatant ignorance on the subjects and tests, even after I forwarded him undeniable facts on these tests results. In a nutshell, this doctor's unwillingness to be open minded and continue his studies to be current cost me years of not feeling great. Stick to a younger doctor, these old school doctors are best for the very basics get in and get out philosophies. Thanks
