While staff quality is fine, my annual exam costs doubled from $721 to $1,514 in one year despite only a medication dosage adjustment. Tips for other patients: 1. Avoid online screening questionnaires unless necessary. Obesity, alcohol, and depression screenings each generated separate charges ($101, $71, and $71 in my case). Skip these unless you specifically need counseling in these areas. 2. Question CPT code 99215 if it appears. I was charged $572 under this code for record review time in addition to my $404 exam and $272 advance care planning fees. However, my physician never addressed two current conditions from my intake form before moving to the next patient, suggesting minimal record review occurred. After multiple attempts to dispute these charges throughout the summer, after insurance I paid $435 out-of-pocket.

I have been going to Belmont Medical for over 25 years. I have never been disappointed. My primary doctor is awesome. I get my mammograms there and always had pleasant people. I live in NH and travel 2 hrs to and from, and it's worth every mile!

The woman who sits on floor six-right side when entering is in need of attitude readjustment.No place for rude,abrupt answers. The Doctors and others are wonderful. Sad, that one bad seed, ruins the overall reputation of the entire floor,but she is first person you see and sets a bad mood. In previous years,had a bunch of these people.The management and doctors have worked hard to weed them out.One more to go.Please!!

The front staff and nurses are nice. They get back to you quick. The doctors not so much. I've never had a doctor make me cry before. If you have an auto immune disease they don't want to take you seriously and are down right dismissive. It's been 7 months! When I went to the initial appointment I needed a referral for a endo. They gave me it and said I had to go up to the specialties office in order to make an appointment. I went to the office gave the price of paper to the receptionist. She looked at me like she didn't know what day it was. Told me to wait. Then came back and said they'd have the call me back to make an appointment. I asked why and she said she wasn't sure who she should schedule me with and would call me back. I called a few times and I have yet to have heard back from this office eve. Though I had a referral. I'd recommend going somewhere else if you have a chronic illness as they treat you like your insane for needing to get new doctors.

Major issues/delays with how they bill to insurance. My wife has spent multiple hours on calls with them and her insurance company because Belmont is incapable of processing for services. After two years they sent one bill to debt collections but finally processed another to insurance for payment. Still working through problems with them. Great in office experience, but a nightmare to deal with from an insurance/billing standpoint. Probably not worth the risk to end up dealing with debt collectors when their staff are incapable of processing invoices for in-network services.
