Dr. Gelfand is a godsend. He is one of those rare finds in a specialist ... extremely knowledgeable, and skilled beyond words, yet also personable to the point of often displaying light humor. This is always refreshing in the face of serious discussions. He also possesses a true dedication to his profession and his patients. Personally, he saw me out of a very rare type of heart failure, and he continues to follow my medical history, meticulously ... and not just as it relates to cardiology.
