Amy Spooner, MD

Dr. Spooner is very knowledgeable and friendly. She takes a lot of time with her patients, which means if you have a late day appointment, you could be waiting 2 hrs for her, which I did. The staff did mention that I should have brought a book to read while I waited. I really liked her but after my first appointment there was no follow-up. When I called the office a week later, the office assistant said the doctor would follow-up shortly, but she never did. Over the following couple weeks I called a few more times and left a couple messages on the portal, which were never returned or answered. I am not sure if the fault lies with the office assistant or the doctor but I would not recommend.

I have had Dr. Spooner as My Cardioligist for three years, who has seen me face two major surgeries, as well as prepped me for those operations. This involved major, and full, aortic reconstruction. Her professionalism, Warm, Kind, yet at times, Stern personality is a great mix of what makes her great! She knows I was the Rugged Construction and Athletic Type whom, as a man likes to lift things., yes, even heavy things. Well, her advice to me on laying off of that after my surgeries, and emphasizing good heart health and CARDIO has changed every thing for me. This advice has Transformed me as I took off many pounds, and have a healthy outlook as I go into my fifties. Dr. Spooner, thanks for all you have done for me. Long live the Porter T, Stairs...
