I've had her for a doctor for about a year. I read reviews similar to these and probably from the same people, before I went to see her. Since she was located close to my home, I decided to see her, regardless of the negative reviews. Also, I'm not a shrinking violet and felt that if the reviews were accurate, I could certainly hold my own and could easily find a new PCP if need be. Fast forward a year, and I'm more than pleased with her knowledge, time and advice. Under her care, I've managed to get my bp under control and am no longer in danger of becoming a diabetic. She has been generous with her knowledge and time and has never not answered any of my concerns. She expects me to be an active participant in my own healthcare, since it is after all... MY HEALTHCARE! Twice, I dropped the ball and didn't call an endocrinologist like I was supposed to and she wasn't happy about it. She was absolutely correct and I did end up making the call and had the problem taking care of. How can I fault a doctor who wants me to be well?

This team leaked HIPPA protected information to a stranger without validating information. Do NOT choose Tufts Med unless you're desperate and out of options.
Extremely rude and didn't even renew the basic (uncontrolled) prescriptions I need.

Dr. Pimrale will leave you feeling worse than you did before seeing her.
After developing Long COVID-related respiratory issues in 2020, I was prescribed Symbicort by a pulmonologist -- the only medication that brought me relief. When I moved from Florida to Massachusetts, I scheduled with Dr. Pimrale to establish care and request a refill, as well as a temporary SSRI refill after my behavioral health provider suddenly retired.
From the start, Dr. Pimrale was condescending and dismissive. She made judgmental comments about my lifestyle (despite the fact that I don't smoke, don't vape, and rarely drink) and spent most of the appointment lecturing me instead of addressing my actual concerns. She refused both refills and instead prescribed an inhaler that didn't help -- I ended up in the hospital shortly after, where I was treated and re-prescribed Symbicort.
The appointment with Dr.Pimrale cost me $700 (not to mention the almost $2k bill from the hospital), and I had to spend hours fighting with insurance (with the help of Tufts' kind front desk staff) to reduce the charge.

Very dismissive bordering on rude when explaining my medical history/ongoing concerns during a new patient annual physical. Worst part is that the hospital then billed me for two appointments because I answered her questions about my medical history. This also happened to a friend of mine (double billing from Tufts Medical). Would stay away from this doctor and hospital system.

I am genuinely surprised she is still a doctor to be quite honest. She is so rude and clearly hates what she is doing. I had my first Telehealth with her and she yelled at me the whole call about why I had the issues that I do (kind of her job to figure it out as a doctor). Not only that, she threatened to tell my mom (who is also her patient) about my personal history. How can she, as a practicing doctor, tell her patient openly she is willing to break her oath??? She also yelled at me about my personal beliefs. One video call was enough to let me know I will never go back to her and am also having my parents change her as a doctor.
