My son was with Dr. Chamberlain from birth until he turned one, and he was truly an excellent doctor. He's young, energetic, and takes the time to carefully listen to every detail we share. Unlike many doctors who seem rushed to move on to the next patient, Dr. Chamberlain always addressed our concerns thoughtfully and promptly. We had to move out of state; otherwise, we would have loved for him to continue caring for our son in the years ahead.

Phone/appointment system, esp. the dreaded "nurse's line" - Don't think they could be worse, even if they tried. And it has been like that for years. There's not even an attempt at improving it. ONLY 30 minute wait times on nurse line is your lucky day! They won't give an appointment without putting u through that torturous nurse's line, "in case you need to be triaged to an ER". 45 mins wait on the phone, in case u need to be sent to ER? And what is worst - they know it but the management is so bad they won't do anything about it. Their only suggestion is "write a letter to the HR". You can't book appointments for anything on the app other than flu clinic or covid testing. It's like office management system from hell. The medical care here has not been an issue. Have had some very good experiences- but u have to get past the office management/appointment system for that, which is not trivial. Lab and radiology in-house is very convenient as well. If you're looking for a new practice, I'd suggest look elsewhere coz when u need them the most, u won't be able to get to the doctors. What's the point?

Was turned away from my appointment due to the check in /registration wait time. Receptionist was on the phone when I arrived. Checked me in 4 minutes later.. I have NEVER been taken on time and here I am being sent away. This- and being charged $50 for an appointment I cancelled in advance has topped the cake for me. It was resolved after I showed NUMEROUS emails and phone call logs, imagine?! Phone calls are not returned in a timely manner.

Was given a prescription Friday was told I had to start it by Saturday the latest. Went to CVS Friday they hadn't received my prescription yet and Acton Medical was closed. Went back Saturday and CVS still had not received the prescription from Acton Medical, I called Acton Medical and was told that I'd have to wait till Monday for my doctor to get in before they could confirm what CVS it was sent to or resend it in. This is now the third time I've had to chase Acton Medical to actual send prescriptions in.

I had a physical at Acton medical , my new Dr was Erin Maxfield. I have never had a physical where I kept my clothes on and wasn't given a Jonnie to change into, I waited approximately 55 minutes before Dr maxfield came into the room . She didn't apologize that I was waiting so long She asked a few questions and was interested only in the medications I was taking. In which she deleted 2 from my med chart , without discussing any alternative. I had a few questions of my own in which she answered quickly, I felt as if I was a just a case load . Not a person or her patient, my physical lasted 30 minutes she also rushed me into signing a consent form, without giving me adequate time to read it. She then told me to go down to the lab for bloodwork, I was then told she had ordered me a urine sample. A toxicology report I was tested for drugs I was later billed by quest diagnostic 107.00 dollars , which my insurance never cover. In all my years of being a patient at Acton medical , this is the first time I feel disgusted with this Dr. my previous Dr retired Dr Gorman she was an amazing Dr and I miss her, I have now found a new PCP .i have tried calling the medical secretary for an entire week now, to obtain my medical records , and no response although I have left many messages. It's a shame that this practice is so incompetent. Adult medicine is horrible, i would highly recommend to do your homework before joining this practice.
