Dragos Popescu, MD

Dr. Popescu is thorough and very upfront about diet, lifestyle changes versus piling on possibly unnecessary medications. He is caring and the office staff is very pleasant. He can almost always fit in appointments for sick visits. It isn't the most modern looking office, but I've gotten worse care at updated looking facilities.

The doctor is incompetent. As is the receptionist. Nice but incompetent. Unorganized, and seems to just bumble his way through visits. You have to almost beg for referrals to specialists. Also, please keep tight records of your visits and who said what. Otherwise, you will come see the doctor and have him read off notes and bloodwork results from two years ago because he and and his staff have loose medical record keeping "systems" and can't seem to keep up with your most recent visit notes. What doctors puts a patient on blood pressure medication and daily aspirin, but never checks up regularly that the regimen is working or that they even still need it? What doctor tells a patient they are anemic and they don't know why, then doesn't offer a solution in the way of iron supplements, etc? If you do go to this office you will essentially be your own doctor as the licensed doctor will rely solely on your own opinions rather than his professional knowledge/opinions. Please advocate for your own health until you can find a better doctor.

I won't lie I had the best experience here than any other doctor. He saved me from the drugs I was getting prescribed for pain & falling into the opioid addiction that's grabbed Baltimore by a choke hold. I'm happy if the options he gave me than to cry over the pain 'n be a static. He actually looks at the pros and cons of medication before prescribing u anything or even sending u to a place like pain management. Overall I'd say he's one of a kind an ace of doctors, cause actually informs and treats u better than most of the doctors I've had. 'N I'm happy he let me reasesrch and helped me reasearch on the pain meds I got... through him I came to understand a lot bout my body and I can only recommend him as ur personal physician esp with how readily available he is to appointments unlike others. His secretaries are out the world esp Angel who goes over her own responsibilities to make sure u get the care u need. I will always be a patient here than ever going else where myself, tbh It feels like I found Aladdin's lamp cause appointments are easy to do, and the doctor himself actually listens and helps u out unlike how most doctor seem stuck up, judgemental and barely care of u as a person than look at u like a customer instead of actually help ur health get back on track!!!!

A wonderful and caring physician. I always can get an appointment within 24 hours. Very kind and professional staff. I am never leaving Dr. Popescu. Good doctors are hard to find. He runs an excellent practice.

ABSOLUELY TERRIBLE CALLED TO CONFIRM APPOINTMENT LESS THAN 10 MINS LATE. THEY CLOSED TGE OFFICE WITHOUT EVEN CALLING ME! TOOK OFF QORK AND SPENT CAB FARE LOST ALMOST $100 IN WAGES AND CABS FOR NOTHING. UNPROFESSIONAL . DO NOT GO HERE.!
