This location was very clean with a lot of room and chairs. Staff and nurses were very nice. I really liked my first appointment with this doctor. He has over 30 years of experience. He was very thoughtful, listened and cared about my problems and situations. Will recommend this doctor. Will be back myself.
I have Dr. McClain for 5 months. So far, so good. He is very attentive and is very proactive in notifying me of any concerns. UPDATED REVIEW- 2023 Looking for a new health care provider. I dropped off their radar, no contact from them means no concern for me.
Very much not recommended. Over many years he failed to notice obvious signs of disease in my mother and continued to dismiss her concerns regarding various ailments. She was eventually diagnosed with cancer to which he was surprised despite multiple warning signs. Additionally he often acts in an arrogant manner, once even asking me "are you a physician?" as a means to quiet my disagreeing with him. Lastly, you will commonly wait an hour after your appointment to be seen. After 15 years of dealing with this arrogant and inept doctor, me and my entire family have now decided to move on.
I have known Dr. McClain since the 90s and I have because of insurance reasons had several other doctors throughout the years. Dr. McClain's bedside manner and willingness to seek unconventional natural healing methods. I am so happy to make it back.
I wish there was a button for a negative star. I read good reviews before coming to see him. It started with dealing with the staff forever about a lab requisition, then no follow-ups from him for months. He brushed it off when I went to see him with intermittent heart beat. Even though my EKG results were abnormal, he just gave me a referral without calling the cardiologist to get me in, knowing how long it takes to see a specialist. Thank God for my brother-in-law who's a physician and told us to go to the ER immediately. I ended up being taken to the cardiac cath to have a stent put in, I had a 95% blockage. The cardiologist said it would have been fatal if I had waited. Oh and the wait time is always over an hour, not acceptable. Either he's burned out and needs to retire or he's straight out incompetent.
