Patient

I have been a patient for over 10 years and had no issues until yesterday. It has become more apparent the lack of concern for their patients. My appointment was canceled because I was unable to produce an insurance card a day before my schedule visit. I explained to the receptionist, I was at work and my card wasn't with me. I also let her know I could come in early before my schedule time and present my card. I was told no by the receptionist and office manager. I made the call for my appointment and if I didn't have insurance why would I even bother.I'm a Register Nurse and to be treated like this by colleagues in healthcare is sickening. Payment of visit is now their PRIORITY! And I know it is a business but where is your compromise for the community you have served. It is no longer the quality of care, needs of their patients, customer service, or longevity , it's now MONEY!!!!!!!

I have been going to this practice for over 15 years. Dr. Maggin listens to your concerns and ensures they are addressed. He makes sure any test necessary are taken and follows-up with you to ensure you know what is needed. The front office staff - Carol is very professional and courteous and ensure's you feel comfortable and everything is addressed with your medical insurance and all appointment(s). You will feel comfortable with Dr. Maggin and his colleagues at all times.

These people could care less about their patient's. Everything they do is for money. If you sneeze the wrong way they will charge you for it. I was charged multiple times for missing appointments i never made. My doctor was a joke. The women behind the desk are just their to collect a check. You can tell they hate working for this sorry excuse for a doctor's office. I finally had enough. Won't be going back. Stay far away. There are much better places in the area. But if you like rude and inadequate.....THIS IS THS PLACE FOR YOU!

In my experience this is a horrible practice. I first saw Lalitha Tadiconda, who treated me like a number, rushed me through, even during my extensive physical exam. She just gave my concerns some limeted lip service and moved on. For example, I had a cough due to a blood pressure medication and she told me to stop drinking juice and cofee (to treat the cough), as they "just make you pee anyway." Then I tried Flint Walker, and that was a real disaster. At that point I was having issues with reactive hypoglycemia and postprandial hypotension (later diagnosed with by other doctors, no thanks to Dr. Walker), and he had zero knowledge of either. When I said I have symptoms after meals, he said it's "perfectly normal" to feel full after big meals like Thanksgiving. I explained that it wasn't just feeling full and not just after big meals, to which he said "I don't know." No desire to look further or educate himself, just unabashed ignorance and arrogance. Instead he decided to attribute my problems to depression and offered to treat them with Lexapro. When I challenged his "diagnosis," he became obnoxious in all his immature millennial glory. I would caution against consulting him, especially people with diabetes. When I saw him, he didn't even have a clear idea of what normal sugar levels are supposed to be. He told me mine were "perfectly normal" when I was clearly pre-diabetic. Awful.

I use to attend this practice, but stop after miss diagnosed me, when I had whooping cough and ended up with brushed ribs. Now I go to Patient First for care. But my mom continued to go until now. She was in a car accident two years ago and bruised her leg, that bruised end up being cellulitis, but it was never caugh by her Doctor (even after several appointments), and she ended up at the hospital for over a week. Today was the last straw. Two weeks ago she apparently hit the same leg with the car door. It became swollen and hot to the touch. She went back to her doctor to make sure it was not a blood clot or the cellulitis. They said it was nothing but bruise and sent her home. (Last I checked you need an ultrasound to check for a blood clot, AND they must not keep patient records well or they would have prescribe preventative antibiotics in case it was cellulitis.) Meantime my mom is back in the hospital tonight receiving intervenous antibiotics with talk about how to help it drain. I feel like they just want to bill the insurance.
