I saw Dr. Dawn Christoper at Capitol Cardiology Associates and she was supremely unprofessional. She rushed through my appointment. She walked in and started to run off a list of referrals and test recommendations without explaining ANYTHING. She did not take notes during my visit and told me I would need to wait for 20-30 minutes for my patient visit summary. When I asked for the form to be emailed she stated I would NEED TO COME BACK TOMORROW to pick it up. It was only after I asked multiple times for the form to be emailed did she say, check with the office manager. Dawn did not engage with me in a caring or compassionate way, not even a respectful way for that matter. Her was tone was extremely condescending , she used highly technical terms and did not clarify or explain what they meant or why each was needed. She spoke to me as if I had interrupted her lunch break and she was eager to get back to her break. I want to emphasize how quickly Dawn rushed through my appointment , I have never experienced anything like this in my life. When you are concerned about the condition of your heart, it can be really scary and unnerving. I want to Capitol Cardiology seeking answers instead I was greeted with an agitated and rude Dr Dawn Christoper. I seriously felt like I was in a drive thru and she was going through her checklist as quickly as she could to get to the next paying customer. I do not recommend. My experience was HORRIBLE. I left the office disappointed in the service that I PAID for and with ZERO answers or next steps to take beyond follow up with my PCP. Please research the Doctors you see before scheduling.
