Female intake receptionist pushed me to voicemail at 4:30 once then answered afterwards. Then took my information & goes "omg" I asked what was wrong. She then said she accidentally deleted everything. I then told her don't worry. I wanted to check about a referral and called back. She then pushed me to voicemail another 4 times in a row. I won't even bother

I'm giving two stars for the PA who treated me and who I've been trying to get back to see but can't because my calls have gone unanswered as well as my online request to schedule an appointment that I sent a week ago. This is the type of office where I love the doctors but dislike the staff. I dealt with staff who were expressionless, don't look at you when they speak with or to you (except for the lady with the wavy hair and glasses at the front desk, she's great) and just all around make you feel like you're disturbing their day. We're heart patients people!! On my last visit, the lobby was packed, and there were four patients with the same first name. I got up when I heard my name but didn't hear the person call the last name. The scheduler looked at me like I had three heads, pursed up her lips and called out the last name of the patient she was calling for (remember, we had the same first name). So I went to sit and smiled at her saying "there was four people here today with the same name" (I actually said the name). She kept the same stank look on her face with the pursed lips and said the lady's last name while looking at me like I'm one of her children that she's about to scold. I have never seen such a desensitized group of medical assistants. The bad spirit from the staff is cantankerous. While I stood at the desk a gentleman saw how the woman with the lashes was dealing with me and he said "Hi meanie!" OH! She smiled and asked him "why you call me that?" His answer "cause you are!" She replied "no I'm not!" That's what I was thinking the whole time- expressionless and for some reason all the others follow suit. One might think that's because they're not being treated right. Whatever the reason, I don't want to go back. The PA is the bomb.com! I like her so much and she just put me on beta blockers and said she wanted me to do two more procedures and wanted to see me in two weeks. I didn't want to deal with the scheduler's bad attitude and haven't been able to reach anyone since. I hate when I find a good doctor but their staff turns me off.

As a clinician, I expect high-quality care and respect across all levels of a practice. The office manger during a recent call was rude, combative, and disrespectful during a call in which I explained that I was returning a call from their office to cancel my appointment as they "forgot" to add a test and the doctor was unable to proceed with providing me the results. She acted as if it was so urgent that I get into the visit, but was not flexible in offering an appointment for almost a month out. She also shared "loudly" over the phone results from test, which I'm sure everyone in the office could hear. Additionally, they schedule appointments individually, instead of clustering visits together, driving up the cost. I've visited this office 5 times, for what should have been less visits. I asked about the cost of battery of test prior to starting, needless to say, it was significantly higher than I was told. I started with this practice in July and 4-months later, I am STILL waiting on results. After finishing the series of tests, I will not be returning to get any further care. While the cardiologist, Dr. Sahni was very pleasant, I cannot continue to have multiple visits for every single test nor tolerate rude and unprofessional staff. I see there are many reviews about the front desk staff, and clearly nothing has changed.

The staff is kind and caring, and they were even able to fit me in for some of the testing the same day so I wouldn't have to take off work as much :) Both the doctor and the receptionists were very helpful in answering any questions I had. It's a very nice office as well.

I wanted to take a moment to share my recent experience at MCA. My visit was truly exceptional. Dr. Ernesto Africano displayed an impressive depth of knowledge and a genuine sense of care throughout my time there. He ensured that all of my concerns were addressed with the utmost attention and professionalism. It was a great experience, and I appreciate the high standard of care provided.
