Dr. Majd A. Hakim, MD

I do not often write reviews, but in this case I absolutely need to. I was referred to Dr. Hakim by my primary doctor after some blood work looked suspicious. Dr. Hakim arraigned for me to get the ultrasound tests required. The results were not great and eventually led to having to have surgery. All through this, Dr. Hakim was patient with her explanations and informative of what was going to happen next. Like anything, there were a few hiccups, not Dr. Hakim's fault, things like reagents that were needed for some procedures not showing up in time, but all through the delays, Dr. Hakim was right there by my side, physically as well as metaphorically. I have great confidence in Dr. Hakim's doctoring and the empathy and support she has shown me all of the time. As for the negative reviews on the front staff. Those were 2 years ago and things must have been straightened out, because I have nothing be superlative things to say about everyone of the support staff. And finally, if you need blood lab work, Quest maintains a lab in Dr. Hakim's office and the phlebotomists working there are the best. They always seem to get my vein on the first stick and there is usually hardly any bruise afterwards.

This was my very first visit with Dr. Hakim and it went exceptionally well! I arrived early to be greeted by a very friendly and pleasant front desk staff! I was called back right on time for my original appointment time and engaged with a patient and attentive nurse. Finally, my time with Dr. Hakim made me feel like she was giving me her undivided attention. She was careful, attentive, responsive to both me and my husband's questions, and encouraging! I can't say enough great things about my experience from beginning to end. Even the checkout receptionist was warm and friendly! Thank you!

The only thing that keeps me coming back here is Dr Hakim. This office is awful on schedule times. My wait is ALWAYS a minimum of 1 hr past my appointment time. Wastes so much of my time sitting here.

I LOVE Dr Hakim but the wait time is unreal. Every 6 months I go into the office and always wait well OVER an hour to even see the doctor. The front staff is entertaining however not very professional and you NEVER receive a call back from anyone if you leave a message. I give Dr Hakim 5 stars but everyone and everything else is a 0 star.

Left messages for days trying to get an appointment and no call back. I finally drove to the office and was told Appointments for Dr. Majd Hakim are being booked 6 months out, yet no one had the courtesy to return any of my 4 calls for over a week and inform me of that. The office was overflowing with patients waiting when i went i to try and schedule the appointment but when I stated my problem they quickly pulled me into another area back out of the hearing range (and I was not being rude or loud). If an office does not even call back, I question the overall quality of care and also I had to insist they investigate where all my voice messages went. No excuse for lack of customer service at this low level!
