Had to go to the Medical Pavilion at Howard County for an appointment. Easy to find. Give yourself an extra few minutes for parking. The building was well lit, very modern and clean. If you are hungry, there was a sandwich shop in the lobby area. I didn't eat there, but it actually smelled pretty good.
Suite 200 of this facility is my subject for the review. The Mid Wives are great, so that is known up front. However, the front desk staff does not appear to get along and that leaks negatively into their interactions with customers. The staff today appeared to have attitude for some reason or another. I asked questions about the information within my FMLA paperwork that took 2 weeks to complete, and I wasn't notified when it was done, but rather had to ask in person at our appointment today, didn't reflect accurate information. I was told some things were implied although not in writing then told they would speak to the Mid Wife and update my paperwork tomorrow once they verified my Wife's medical status. It was pretty clear the person responsible to complete the paperwork didn't know the medical situation before doing my paperwork, which is understandable, but her attitude wasn't. Very disappointed in this place today and not to mention I took off today for our appointment only to find out we weren't scheduled for everything that we were suppose to have done today so another appointment was required for tomorrow to do what wasn't scheduled for today. Gotta do better!!
Came here for ortho to get an X-ray and mri for a sprain.Dr. Lipton was great and listened thoroughly even though sometimes I can tell he was in a rush. I only subtracted 2 stars;1 due to the rude receptionist at the desk, and the other for extremely long wait time. (I waited an hour in a half in the waiting room, and 30 min in he exam room. This was after they told me to be there 30 min early, I get they don't you running the docs behind but the wait time is ridiculous. If you have made any other obligations cancel them or block out 3 hours.
Nice place, everyone is very helpful here and I like that there's a mini cafe here with delicious food on the 1ST floor.
My second time here. Both were excellent experiences. The phlebotemist hit the bullseye each time. No pain and no black and blue mark from bleeding under my skin.
