Dr. Jack Flyer is board-certified in cardiology and interventional cardiology.
Dr. Flyer has been practicing cardiology since 1997. He specializes in interventional cardiology, the branch of cardiology that uses catheter-based technology to treat heart disorders. He also practices general cardiology, and has expertise in echocardiography and nuclear cardiology. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor at George Washington University School of Medicine, teaching medical students cardiology. He is an active member of the American College of Cardiology, the American Medical Association and the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions. Dr. Flyer is a caring, smart cardiologist but he is inconsistent. You can see this from the reviews. For general medical care, he is fine. I had some concerns and at first, he was completely responsive, in fact, emailed me from home, I think. But after that, I couldn't get him to follow up and provide the additional information that I needed. I was referred to the American Heart Association for advice. I found another cardiologist who took the time to explain and talk with me about my concerns.
