Jannet Lewis, MD, F.A.C.C. is a Professor of Medicine and cardiologist in the Division of Cardiology at The George Washington University Medical Center. She is Director of Noninvasive Cardiology and Director of the GW Women's Health Center. Her major clinical interests have been in the use of echocardiographic techniques in assessment of patients with heart diseases including hypertensive heart disease, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, as well as issues particularly relevant to women. Her recent research efforts and publications have assessed the use of newer echocardiographic techniques in hypertensive heart disease, including presentations at national cardiology meetings (e.g.

Dr. Lewis is very professional and knowledgeable which naturally is what I expect from GW Cardiology. But more than that, she is personal and caring. She listens and responds. She is all I could ask for. The office in Bethesda is a plus as well.
