Very poor experiences at the cardiology lab. . Had an echo cardiogram and fitted with a Holter monitor. The technician doing the echo cardiograph was very difficult to understand.her English. She was very rough positioning me and was clearly annoyed with me that she couldn't get the images she needed. Kept saying that she had other patients waiting like it was my fault. Finally done unhooked me and I got dressed when she called me back because she had forgotten to capture something. So back undressed and hooked up. She kept saying her issues were I was nervous. Not nervous, just getting impatient with my treatment. Over night a couple of leads pulled from the the Holter monitor and I reattached them the best I could. When I finally reached the lab the next morning the person I spoke with was very short tempered and clearly didn't have time to confirm I had attached the leads to the correct adhesive post. I will not use this cardiology department again.
This has got to be the worst run department in Upper Chesapeake/University of Maryland Healthcare system. I have made 4 attempts to make an appointment for a routine follow -up. They did not return any of my calls until the fourth attempt, then the receptionist whose name is Kathy, denied that she ever got it, and was very rude. She needs to be fired and the whole department needs be overhauled and given a good lesson in customer service. They are the absolute worse!!!!
If I could give less then 1 star I would, never in my life have I experienced a phone issue like their office. My husband and I have called multiple times too many to count. No one answers... try the operator they transfer us get a voicemail. Unless I experienced it myself I don't know if I would believe someone if they said the dr's office NEVER answers. Have left VM's don't get return calls. My MIL really needs answers, so now my husband will be going into the office to actually speak with someone.
