Warning: Dickfeld will gaslight you! Presented the image below, following an episode where I passed out - indicated by the 160bpm swing (context: I was NOT working out. I simply walked 2 blocks when this occurred). I was told that "this is normal for a young woman" and that I need to drink more water, lose weight, and see a therapist to reduce my stress. Completely ignoring that I was running 5Ks in the middle eastern heat prior to whatever illness is triggering these POTS-like symptoms. When I told him my OB/GYM advised not getting pregnant since my HR was consistently over 140 and it was risky for a baby, he said to find a new OB! (Including the photo that even AI acknowledges this concern...) Also had a referral from my PCP asking him to "CONFIRM POTS" as she & I have already come to the diagnosis / conclusion and simply needed his cardiac specialist signature & license to it. I even brought my husband this trip to see if he would still gaslight me with a male in the room. Very disappointed in the level of care provided through Dr Dickfeld @ UoM. Not to mention his undermining multiple other medical professionals.
