About Dr. Kevin Arthur Brown, MD
Kevin Brown, MD is a vascular surgeon with MedStar Heart & Vascular Institute. He sees patients in Bowie, Annapolis, and Chester, Maryland. Dr Brown treats all forms of vascular disease and is interested in minimally invasive endovascular aortic repair, cerebrovascular surgery, dialysis access creation and revision, and carotid stenting. His research interests have focused on carotid stenting and endovascular repair. He has written a textbook chapter on endovascular management of cervical vascular trauma in Endovascular Resuscitation and Trauma Management. Dr Brown is a US Navy Veteran, having served as the Director of Surgical Services at the NATO Role 3 Combat Hospital in Kandahar, Afghanistan.

Dr. Brown is a kind and caring doctor. I went for swelling in my legs due to an injury. I saw Dr. Brown three years ago and he knew my medical history when he walked in the door. After saying hello, Dr. Brown asked questions about the injury and listened without interruption. He looked at my injury and addressed the problem. I left with a light heart knowing that I had solid medical advice. The office staff are all top notch. I just read that he was named as one of the "Top Docs" in his field by his peers.
