About Dr. Robert Drennan, MD - Cardiovascular Institute of the South
Dr. Robert Drennan is an electrophysiologist with CIS in Baton Rouge and Zachary. He completed his Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry and molecular biology, as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in chemistry, at the College of Charleston. He earned his doctorate of medicine from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in Columbia, South Carolina. He completed a residency in internal medicine from the Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans. He also completed both his cardiology and electrophysiology fellowship at the Louisiana State University Health Science Center in New Orleans. Dr. Drennan is board certified in internal medicine, cardiology, nuclear cardiology and clinical electrophysiology.

Dr Drennan has been my cardio doc now for 5-6 years! Always very friendly and thorough when I visit him for my yearly visits! He always make me feel like I'm his only patient in that moment! Never gets rushed with my time and answers all my concerns! Just recently found out he goes to Zachary location, which I like because I like to shop in that area as well, plus it's all back roads to travel to and fro! I would highly recommend him to all my friends and family!
