Ochsner Health Center - Slidell

Dr. Naccari and the NP Emily Bassett are amazing! They have always listened when I had concerns. I do also want to shout out Kevin in the lab. I went in this morning for labwork. My appt was for 7. I was called back at 7 on the dot and I was walking out the door at 7:03. He was very professional and fast. 4 vials and no bruising. That never happens when I get bloodwork. Great experience here!

Staff is nice when you're there, however their billing department is insane. My spouse is Active Duty Military and they keep sending us insane bills for things TRICARE is covering, then telling us they cannot resubmit the claim because "that's their policy." I worked insurance for YEARS and never heard of such a ridiculous policy, when a claim is denied that shouldn't be we ALWAYS resubmitted in the patients behalf. They just want us to give up on fighting and pay the bill that we SHOULDN'T owe rather than wanting to help us figure it out at all.

I tried to make an appointment with a primary care over the phone. The doctor that I used once 2 years ago was booked through the end of the month. I told the person on the phone I didn't care what doctor I used I just needed an appointment asap and that I didn't have a relationship with the doctor I had seen once before. She told me I could not see another doctor because i would be considered a new patient and that I would have to wait until he had an opening. I can't wait a month and since she refused to set me up with another doctor in the city i am looking for business other than Ochsner. Horrible customer service.

Had a bad experience with this place. Went for lab work for my autistic daughter she asked if I could come in with her and the man said to her, well if she needs to hold your hand I guess she can come in. Asked to speak to someone about it and no one came out hoping I'll just leave. They were right I left, people have things to do. No ti.e to be playing their little waiting games. The only nice person was the girl at reception. The woman that drew blood was sooo rude also throwing things around. Never again will I come to this place.

Plenty of seating available in the waiting area. The receptionist Kaneesha was cordial and professional. Upon checking in for my blood work appointment, I only waited a few minutes before being called back. The nurses and NP's are professional and the Facility is sterile and is kept neat and cleanly. Thanks to the staff at Ochsner Health Center at 2750 Gause Boulevard in Slidell for your 5 star service and hospitality.
