I have nothing bad to say about Dr Zang. I came into the hospital with a 99% blockage and was rushed into surgery. The man and his team saved my life that night. I am here experiencing another day because of him. My gf was in the waiting room and was very upset but he talked to her with respect and informed her of what was going on. She thought she might lose me that night and it was very traumatic for those that love me. All I can say is thank you but it's not emough.
My appointment was at 10:00. (Made several months out!!) did not see Dr Zang until almost noon. All he spoke about was my diabetes. ( which is fine) but he never asked me anything about my heart or listened to it... isn't he a cardiologist!!!!!!!!!!! Not a happy patient for sure..
I do not like sharing this in this manner, text conversation but I will because you ask. I was referred to Dr. Zhang by my primary because I had a low dose CT screening for lung cancer. Thankfully no cancer but screening results stated that I has severe coronary artery calcification. That's why my primary refered me. I had a chemically induced stress test and echocardiogram. You ask for my opinion on how treatment was. I am sure the procedure was as it should be but the process was not very reassuring comfortable. I was never given a pre procedure consult. I was just shoveled from one procedure to another. At one point I asked if the medical team could give me and my wife a quick understanding of what test I was having and they told my wife she could not come into the procedure room. Then we waited for results. I got a phone call from Ethan who told me Dr. Zhang had evaluated test results and that everything is normal. I had plenty questions but Ethan really could not elaborate on the results. I was told that he'd talk to someone else and get back to.me. I have not heard back. So now I am going back to my primary to see if he can help me interpret test results and give me some advise on how to take care of my condition.
Dr Zhang is very professional, explains everything and made me feel comfortable, his staff are so nice .
Dr Zhang was attentive he listened to me and showed concern for my health. As a result tests were scheduled immediately.
