The front desk woman was a delight and very understanding. The LCMC SYSTEM in this location for my purpose SUCKED. I had orders sent over to get images of my hip. I was told I did not need an appointment, to just show up and I would be seen. I have done this in the past and usually there are no issues. This time I waited over an hour after checking in before I went back to the desk asking how much longer it will be. The receptionist said she did not know, hoped it would be soon and would check with the technician to get a better idea. 10 min later she told me the technician was seeing someone but as soon as done, she would find out how much longer. 20 min later she let me know she had talked to the technician and that it would be a minimum of another 25 min. OVER a 2 HOUR WAIT to and no guarantee I would actually be seen at that point. I had asked the receptionist if I should have made the appointment even though I was told I did not need one. She told me they ( LCMC) do NOT ALLOW appointments for what my orders called for and my visit is will happen only in-between when the Technician has time. WOW! I will NEVER let that happen again. I asked my Dr to schedule somewhere else and it was set for Doctor's Imaging. I walked in today without an appointment, they were moderately busy and I was back in my car in less than 20 min. There IS something worng with the system at this ( others?) LCMC facility.
