About Dr. Marcus Cox, MD- Cardiovascular Institute of the South
Dr. Marcus Cox is an interventional cardiologist at Cardiovascular Institute of the South (CIS) in New Iberia. Dr. Cox graduated cum laude with his Doctorate of Medicine from St. George's University. He completed his internal medicine residency at St. Michael's Medical Center in Newark, New Jersey, where he was also named associate chief resident. His training in cardiovascular disease was completed at the University of Connecticut at Hartford Hospital. He is also being trained in interventional cardiology at the University in Chicago at Northshore Hospital in Evanston, Illinois. Dr. Cox is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease.
