Shannon Chappell, PA-C

I was greeted right away, triaged, and placed in an exam room. The wait was very short,. Dr Chappell was very attentive to all of my concerns. She discussed with me my further treatments and that she would like to follow my progress, as I have risk factors due to mostly family history, yet no symptoms have shown up.

I've been seeing Shannon for years. Each time i see her makes me feel like seeing a trusted friend. She is a part of my family not just my Dr. .I appreciate her in more ways then probably knows. Thank you. God bless.

My experience at Ochsner's cardiology team has been absolutely wonderful. From the very first visit, I felt at home and never like just "another" patient. My concerns were genuinely heard, and I truly felt like my health mattered to them. Every specialist and team member I was referred to throughout my cardiac appointments was kind, patient, and invested in my well-being. I cannot recommend this team enough for anyone dealing with cardiac issues or even just the fear of them. In my opinion, they are the best team I have had the pleasure of being treated by. As they say, first impressions are everything, and they certainly left a lasting one on me. Every department I was sent to was fantastic, treating me not just as a patient but almost like family. I want to give special recognition to Shannon Kathleen Chappell, who was incredibly professional, kind, and understanding. She truly took the time to listen, asked thoughtful follow-up questions, and made sure my concerns were fully addressed. She was absolutely amazing. I sincerely hope this team continues to uphold the same level of care, professionalism, and compassion because it makes all the difference. 10/10, Ochsner! Thank you guys so much!
