After having a graft placed by someone else fail multiple times and ultimately become infected and removed. My mom required a new one we chose Dr Crenshaw in hope of having the Ellipsys placed after careful consideration my mother was not a candidate and a graft was placed . Multiple issues arose with the new graft through no fault of his we have been told by every Md prior and him as well that her veins and arteries are extremely tiny but we wanted to try again. Dr Crenshaw stayed in contact with us even on the weekend to form a plan to have a more suitable access placed. I have been a nurse for over 20 yrs there are not many physicians who take time to explain and offer alternatives solutions for better outcomes. I appreciate that and I would recommend anyone that requires a vascular procedure to have a consultation an experience for yourself .
