Always a very pleasant environment with knowledgeable staff and doctors... especially Dr. Acosta ... very patient and listens intently to address any concerns or questions my husband and I may have regarding our health. When test are required the facilities at both NOLA East and West Bank are clean and staff is friendly and courteous. Great experiences all around!
My care was excellent! From the ladies that checked me in and out, to the nurse that took my statistics. My Doctor is one of the most caring individuals I've ever met. He is attentive, he listens and addresses my concerns. He directs me on what what I should know and do to maintain my own health needs. Always....did you get your flu shot? But in ending Family Doctor's gets it right and provides an awesome service to us medical needy folks.
I definitely receive better care here than anywhere I've been before! I have a couple of chronic illnesses and a chronic injury. I definitely know what it's like to visit multiple doctors often. Dr. Spears and her team and gynecology are amazing. Courtney and Maria always do a great job there along with her. My hematologist Dr. Del Toro is equally as impressive! Her whole staff is competent and kind. Even the front desk crew always makes you feel extremely welcome and important. I spend the most time with my nurse Stacie in the infusion center. She is hands-down the absolute best healthcare worker I've ever encountered in my life. She is extremely attentive and kind. I see her often and she never fails to treat me like an important patient. Overall I believe I get great care at West Jefferson Hospital
My last experience was actually a phone visit which I really like having as an option. But I like having West Jeff as my medical center, comparing it to the Walmart of healthcare. I have arranged for all my doctors to be there, as much as is possible for the convenience. Covered, free parking is awesome and there is a cute little cafe that has really good food! Perfect for the times you have to fast for something!! So I would totally recommend it!
Doctors are great, staff is super friendly. Only negative is the food. I have been a patient before and the food was awesome, then they changed food service company and now it's like your given scraps of prison food.
