I had an excellent experience at the Christus St. Patrick's emergency room. From the moment I arrived, the nursing staff was kind, attentive, and professional. They made me feel comfortable and reassured throughout my visit. The emergency room doctor, Dr. William Laborde, was absolutely outstanding. He took the time to really listen, explain everything clearly, and made sure I understood what was going on. His calm, confident manner gave me so much peace of mind during a stressful situation, and I left feeling truly cared for and well-informed. Even though my visit was handled quickly and efficiently, I never felt rushed or overlooked. Every part of my evaluation felt thorough, and the care I received exceeded my expectations. I'm so grateful for the entire team at St. Pats, and the exceptional care they provided.

my name is phillip, i went in the st pats on saturday oct 18th 2025 because my primary dr i need to go in for a blood transfusion. i arrived and the male nurse working the window was great very nice and helpful great guy. he brought me into the er and the nurses in there were also good very nice and helpful. The gi dr talked to me and i was admitted and sent to the 5th floor and that was fine the nurse jodie up there was beyond awesome if you had a 100 of her you would have alot better reviews. after she left for the night is when things went downhill. The dr that came to see me on the 5th floor i dont know his name cause i could understand a word out his mouth old man with a turban. not much to complain about him just that i couldnt understand him. They set up a upper and lower gi for the morning (sunday) which i wasnt happy about but i said ok. they game me 2 bags of blood that evening. And started the drink for the lower gi at about 7pm. The night shift was ok just no were as helpful as Ms Jodie, at 10 pm one of them popped in and said by the way you have to finish that drink by midnight. i was floored. i wasnt told earlier but i got it down. Between the bed that needed to be thrown away cause it was worn out and i could feel the metal bars on my tailbone and the drink i got zero sleep. The next morning a new shift came in and i have to say ive never met a nurse with a more terrible bedside manner than her. And she was training a new nurse(she was alot nicer and wanted to help but i understand she was training so no hate on her) but her trainer must hate her life she maybe a good nurse but she needs to retire she isnt a people person at all. Then the topper happened the Dr for the day walked in and let me tell you the turban dr was easier to understand than this guy. on top of that he had no idea why i was there not a clue what had happened the previous day and what was already scheduled for the day. i had to tell and show him cause the Ms. jodie had wrote it all on the dry board and he had no clue but still wanted to make me stay another night. when he walked out that was my breaking point. at this point it was after 10am and they had started another bag of blood for whatever reason. A nurse came in and i unfortunately i went off on her and she wasnt a bad nurse. but i told her that i was done as soon as this blood was done i want out of here. and to her credit she was nice to me about it. and the rude training nurse came in with an attitude to take out my iv like it was a bother then then brought me my release form i signed and she walked out no good luck or nothing just rude. i have always preferred st pat hospital but i have to say i wont go back there as a hospital patient unless i really have to. This hospital need an evaluation of some drs and nurses. also hire American Doctors that can speak english!!!!

While during my hospital stay this go around I had the most amazing nurse her name was Megan. She was so friendly and kind and was amazing at her job , never once did I have to ask for pain meds after having a emergency surgery on my hand she came in every two hours with meds.. I was on the 3rd floor in room 3148 I believe.. if you are ever on 3rd floor request Megan promise you will not be disappointed. Also my hospitalized doctor was a great doctor who was highly intelligent and did everything he could to help me during my stay..

I had to be admitted to the psych ward and had the best nurses and techs there. I felt welcomed and they didn't treat you like little children like most places do. They listened to my needs and got me on the right meds. I would recommend them for your psychiatric needs. I loved it here.

Shoutout to Disnuke FNP, nurses, and even the triage who upheld integrity when I came in. The service was top notch and I was seen right away.I came in on a Sunday with an ailment and they threw the book at it. Got the proper diagnosis, got the treatment plan, and started feeling better right away! Everyone worked efficiently like a well oiled machine. That's the care team I want around when I need help.
