Ochsner Health Center - Driftwood

I find their techs in the lab very well trained and friendly so I schedule all my labs here that I possibly can regardless of where my specialists that ordered them are located. I see the primary care dept for quarterly check ups also at this location which is very convenient for me. Can't say enough nice things about the doctors at Driftwood and their supportive staff.

My physician was rude and the opposite of welcoming. I came in early in the morning, 7:45am to which I was not greeted at all by my physician, when brought to the back I was told what to do very rudely and treated like a random person! not like im at a health care facility. I will not be returning! ever.

Dr Tolston is awesome. She took her time with me. She cleaned up my records that had not been updated in time from my old doctor. She's getting me all caught up on my lab work that had been neglected from my old doctor. And she took the time to explain to me different things about my allergy meds that no one had ever explained before.

The nurse and doctor are very caring. They make you feel comfortable. Unfortunately, the receptionists are terrible. As if they didn't want to help at all and being very disrespectful. Seem they wasn't happy that I interrupted them while they were playing on their phone. Receptionists: -5 stars Nurse and doctor: 5 stars Average out to 3 star service is fair overall.

I am very satisfied with my doctor, but the scheduling staff is the worse I have ever encountered. They schedule patients without confirming if it's okay (outside of preference). Don't ask for my preference if you're not going to abide by it. Then I receive a phone call to reschedule my appt, only they don't tell me they are rescheduling me to see a PA-C and not my PCP. Very unprofessional!
