Abdul M. Khan, MD

Dr. Khan has been my pulmonologist for 2+ years and I am so glad he has charge of my care. At the start, when I was getting pneumonia with increasing frequency, he never gave up trying to find out what was causing so many illnesses. He succeeded in finding a solution and a medication. I am very thankful to him.

Nurse light to me about not having test results from EEG I know this because I'm in health care and I know the owner of the company that was contracted to do the Test. The information was sent to the doctor's office the same day the test was given resent 6 days later after I called and asked if what she was telling me was true. Call to get MRI reports after they called me I returned the call left a message for hours later no response called again left another message to hours later I get a phone call with a staff member Sheila you know who you are and she was short with me as if I was putting her out to give me my daughter's MRI results guess what Sheila it's called customer service.

Faster than I thought. Everyone was helpful with my speedy registration. The office personnel all made me feel valued. Dr. Kahn is great with helping me manage my illness.

Not even that smart (he got his medical degree from a not-so-good medical school, University of Southern Alabama, and he did an early admissions program for high school seniors to avoid competitive Med-School Admissions). Has relatives in the medical field so they probably helped him get into that program and/or Ochsner. Epitome of nepotism and the other reviews by patient confirm that there are better doctors than Abdul Khan. Save your money and time...go elsewhere.

I only gave one star because I had to.... I went in last month with excruciating headaches with stabbing pains through my head. I also let him know I had been having some kind of strokes or seizures. Thinking I was going to die and begging for help to be told yet again that my case is to difficult and he didn't know what to do for me. Also that he didn't want me to come back and waste my time and money. What kind of doctor does this to a person sitting in their office crying in pain begging for help??? A month later I'm still here thankfully and my PCP just did blood work and it's horrible. I could be dead right now because of him. I'm reporting him today because he never did blood work or chose to see that I got in to see another doctor....neglect is neglect. He shouldn't have a license to practice.
