About Dr. Peter Fail, MD - Cardiovascular Institute of the South
Dr. Peter Fail joined the CIS as an interventional cardiologist in 1996. He began his studies at the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida where he earned his undergraduate degree in zoology. He completed his medical degree at the American University of the Caribbean in Montserrat, British West Indies. Dr. Fail is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology. He is level -three certified in cardiovascular computed tomography (CT) by the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography. Dr. Fail is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology, the American College of Chest Physicians, the American College of Physicians, and the Society for Cardiac Angiography and Interventions.
