Dr. Eric Engeron is a native of Houma, Louisiana. He attended Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge and LSU Medical School in Shreveport. He remained in Shreveport for his postgraduate studies and residency in internal medicine. As a National Merit Finalist, Dr. Engeron continued his scholastic excellence as an LSU Chancellor's Scholarship recipient. He remained on the dean's list in both undergraduate and medical school, was selected to Who's Who in the South and Southwest, and chosen as Intern of the Year by LSU Medical Center. He is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease. Dr. Engeron is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and a member of the American College of Physicians.

He's very good at reviewing all the medical data received from blood test and others. He's good at analyzing diet supplements and over the counter medicines which affect my health in reference to good or adverse affects. I'm satisfied with his analysis of my condition.
In going to my "scheduled" appointment, the only issue I have is the long waiting time. From the receptionist to the doctor all of them were great. I main issue was the length of the waiting time to see the doctor. As my appointment to see the doctor was at 1:40 pm, I did not see him until 2:30pm and then had more wait time to schedule the upcoming stress test. I did not get home until 3:30pm, which basically killed the whole day. I understand things or situations may come up, but patience's should be kept aware of delays. All in all, the doctors and nurses do a great job.
