I called to make an appointment for my Mom. Her insurance is Medicare/BlueCross BlueShield. They don't accept this insurance. I asked if I could pay cash. I was told that it was against the law to take cash for a visit if you have Medicare. Now, I don't claim to know everything, but this doesn't sound right to me. Even though I won't be taking my mother to this practice, I'd like someone to reach out to me regarding the proper agency to investigate this law.
