If there was a way to give negative star I would. I waited over 2 hours to be seen with chest pain shoulder pain and very high blood pressure and finally left when waiting room was empty and I was still waiting to be seen. Was told at check it my ID would not work because I was from out of state, When finally asked for BP to be checked by triage nurse she checked it and said it was high. she said the had no room for me. But I would be next... and that I need to be seen because it was so high. Finally left to go elsewhere. Waiting room had been emptied 2 times while waiting.

Absolutely horrible hospital if you have an emergency DO NOT come here! Brought my wife in she was in the middle of having a miscarriage we were told to come straight to the ER well 5 hours later still not seen. A little old lady with actual blood pouring out her face not being seen for at least 3 hours. Nurse staff very rude and acts like your a bother. This hospital is a joke

Please just look down the reviews & see how many 1 stars there are & 90% of those say they hated giving it that 1 star. Well that right there says it all. Don't come to this hospital if you wanta be done by Christmas & it's January 1st. There is no excuse for this hospital doing this to people except they enjoy it, people suffering that is.

My fiance was admitted to this hospital on 06/10/2025 due to issues with throwing up and heading towards being DKA. I contacted the nurse's station/hospital multiple times throughout his stay so far and can guarantee you the way I was spoken to and treated was disrespectful and rude. Not only did we have to deal with the nurses being rude and not willing to provide any information, they also were mad at him for throwing up on the wrong side of the bed which is ridiculous. He has been throwing up for the past 2 days and y'all have failed to prevent it. To add even further to my frustration when I arrived this morning and asked about his blood sugar because he was PROFUSELY sweating, I had a nurse pretty much blow me off and tell me it has been in the 300s since he arrived and they were aware it was high. He is an INSULIN DEPENDENT DIABETIC. One more thing to add to my frustration and to show just how incompetent the staff is they provided him with ONLY an ensure drink which contained 30G of sugar and a total of 52G carbs. I am no medical professional, but its common sense a diabetic who has had nothing but 300+ sugars DOESN'T need that. I was also informed yesterday the only reason he was still in the hospital was due to his sugar being as high as it was but everyone seems to lack any kind of compassion, care, or understanding of his situation or just refuses to provide me any information while I'm there. This in total is why we are choosing to sign out AMA and go to a facility with adequate staff. Willis Knighton Bossier must be the worst hospital to leave your family with. Please take time to speak to your staff on the 4th floor regarding their NASTY attitudes and lack of respect for other people. Especially their patients.

Hi I'm Josephine and I had surgery at Willis Knighton hospital and my primary doctor works here too. I had came to the ER one day because a small area right below my breasts was hurting, they did an X ray, a CT scan and ultrasound. When looking at the ultrasound it turned out I had a really bad gallbladder it was infected, inflammed and it had stones in it. In ER the nurses and doctors were incredibly nice and respectful despite seeing me in a bad state they remained positive. I was told that gallbladder surgery is common which makes me feel less alone. I was escorted to another department on another floor where most of my stay was. I stayed for just a few days, I got a little stir crazy but the staff were kind, compassionate, respectful and helpful. The nurses took very good care of me and when the doctors and their associates came in to discuss who they are, their findings, their roles, how the processes work, the surgery, etc they explained things throughly and answered all my questions. I am still recovering and they gave us the number for Dr. Banda's office so I can schedule another appointment if I have any negative after affects so they're still taking care of me even after my stay. I have come by a few times, Nurse Practitioner Brittany is very positive and outgoing, Dr. Banda is very nice too. My primary doctor is Dr. Grey and he is the best doctor I have ever met. He is a good listener, he is respectful, he is caring and he has helped me with all of my concerns. I definitely recommend Willis Knighton hospital for surgery and primary care.
