Dr. Terry is awesome! He is a very caring, considerate and thorough physician. He treated my mother with respect and was always willing to listen to her. He took the time to "visit" with her and she never felt like she was just a "moneymaker". She truly loved going to his office for her appointments. His PA, Jennifer is a sweetheart. They reviewed her medications with us at every visit and inquired about how she had been doing since our last visit.
Thank you for opening a satelite office in Zachary, so much easier to bring Momma to Zachary. Saved me time off of work and her the "sitting" time for trips into Baton Rouge. The office personnel at the Zachary Office are very friendly and helpful when needing answers to questions/concerns regarding billing issues. My mother passed in April 2015 and I will always be gratefull for the care and compassion my momma recieved from this medical office. Thank you Dr. Z and Care Team!

Dr. Zellmer is an excellent Cardiologist, knowledgeable, kind, understanding and trustworthy. Dr. Zellmer is also a good compassionate person. He listens intently and never rushes to judgement about what you need before having every fact. His approach is wholly scientific yet he will always ensure you have left an appointment knowing he is there to help you find answers that will enhance or make your life better. When Dr. Zellmer retires, Baton Rouge will lose one of its best doctors. Establish yourself as a patient before you find out you need a Cardiologist. I agree with the others how the general BR Cardiology staff leaves much to be desired, but the quality of Dr. Zellmer's immediate staff, especially his PA go far beyond the need for a pleasant receptionist.
