I was really hoping to find outstanding, attentive thyroid care here, but my experience fell short of that. I've lived with thyroid issues for over 20 years and was looking for a provider who takes a comprehensive, optimization-based approach -- someone who looks beyond TSH alone and also evaluates Free T3 and Reverse T3 to get the full picture. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case with Dr. Cook. The initial appointment was missed by the doctor, and there was a significant delay in following up on my out-of-range results. While she did eventually respond, the overall level of attention didn't reflect the kind of proactive, detail-oriented care I expect for a complex, long-term thyroid condition. That said, I want to be very clear that the staff is outstanding. The medical assistant and the front desk team were professional, kind, and responsive throughout. My experience with them was excellent -- they're the reason I'm leaving two stars instead of one. If you're looking for a more traditional, maintenance-style approach to thyroid care, this office may work well for you. But if you're seeking deeper analysis and optimization, you may want to explore other options.

Worst visit with Andrea Cothern. Very inpersonel not friendly and seems really prejudice. Will be looking for another doctor. Been coming here for years and never again. Would not recommend!

I was sick yesterday and my own doctor wasn't available. Andrea came in telling me that she was getting over the flu. I said well I hope I don't have that and her response was "well even if you did go waited 3 days to come in I can't help you". So off putting.. She asks my symptoms and I tell her what they are I also tell her that I've been around ppl from All over the state the day before.. She's like "okay, that doesn't matter, you've been sick you don't just get sick in 24hrs!" I'm like yes you can that exactly what happened to me before.. So as you can tell we are going in circles and she is determined to discredit me knowing more about my body and symptoms than anyone else... She asks me what I've been taking and I tell her alkaseltser and Afrin on Monday and agrin again Wednesday night. Immediately Andrea says "You can't take afrin after three days". At first I said "okay".. Then I speak up for myself and say "but I used it only once on Monday and once Wednesday night". She says "I don't care! You can't use it after three days" So I ask her "are you listening to me, and are you understanding that I've only used the afrin twice once one Monday and once on Wednesday night?" She says "Afrin conversation is over, I don't care. You are addicted or you will be addicted after three days!" I'm offended clearly because she's not listening to me AT ALL, and now she's telling me that Im addicted to a nasal spray.. I then say "I see why doctors do not want to give ppl of color treatment and medicine, because yall feel like we will be addicted to medicine" Andrea immediately says" now I'm offended you called me a racist" I calmly said "I did Not call you a racist at all. Andrea says "do you want me to continue or not because we are not getting anywhere and it's a known fact that you will be addicted to Afrin, it's a known fact that there is an Afrin addiction." So I say I'm offended and it seems you are offended. She says "I'm not continuing this appointment" and walks out. Someone comes in 6 minutes later and asks if I want to still be seen. I'm like Yes, she reschedules me and walks me back to the waiting room to wait again for another provider to see me.. Andrea made so much of a fuss that the entire back office and front office was staring at me and I heard a lady state that she would get with the supervisor regarding the situation/issue (I'm assuming in Andrea's defense) I really didn't get the treatment needed at all after the horrible experience and I did not at their clinic of course but I did test positive for Covid.... Even though Andrea swore that I couldn't have the flu or Covid after being in contact with different people in a 24hr period... Worse part is my PCP is in this office and I've been seeing the same PCP. For the last almost 10yrs and now this horrific experience just for her to claim victim after telling me that I had an Afrin addiction... I do not like that these people who are in a position to care for you do not assume best intentions, and instead of helpful education and information to immediately assume that a certain person has an addiction to over the counter nasal spray?! Afrin is why i couldn't be treated fairly and walked out not knowing that I had covid..

Very disappointed in Dr Muratore. Letting an elderly person's blood disorders go on for 4 years without telling them or referring them to a hematologist. Now it looks like they have leukemia. Also kept them on 3 blood pressure medications after the fact that they lost so much weight this year no longer has high blood pressure and had to be hospitalized because those medications were making them sick. I swear it looks like she was trying to kill this person with her lack of care.
