Dr McCarthy is one of the BEST doctors i have seen in my life. I went to him after years of sinus issues that caused issues with my breathing. He listened to me had breathing tests and Xrays ordered and referred me to other specialists who he worked with to determine the real problem and not just treat the symptoms. He is EXCEPTIONAL!
Four years ago I became seriously ill with an acute respiratory disease. The first time I saw him he immediately sent me to the hospital. After 11 days and multiple test a lung biopsy and multiple medications and large doses of steroids I went home in a wheel chair and Oxygen and high dose steroids. Since that time I have been so blessed to have Dr. McCarthy. He has guided my family through very difficult times. Through these times he has closely managed my medications and every aspect of my care. Today I am very functional and have been slowly weaned off the medications I was taking and my Oxygen use is very limited. He has shared his knowledge and sincere concern and compassion for me and my family. He has been a great blessing to us and we are so grateful for his care and support.
Dr. McCarthy was very friendly and professional! Was not in a rush, and actually listened to and addressed my concerns. He made certain that I understood the issues that I was dealing with!
