Dr. De Puy obtained his Doctorate of Medicine at Louisiana State University Health and Sciences Center in Shreveport, LA. In 2016, he completed his internal medicine residency at University of Alabama at Birmingham. In 2019, he then completed fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease, also at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He then completed fellowships in Interventional Cardiology, Structural Cardiology and Peripheral Vascular Disease at the Scripps Clinic in San Diego, CA. He is licensed by the Alabama Medical Licensure, Medical Board of California, and Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners and is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases, and Interventional Cardiology

I was seen promptly, and all staff members were pleasant, courteous, informative, efficient, and helpful. Dr. Du Puy is knowledgeable, presented information clearly, invited questions, and was realistic as well as reassuring. He made sure that I was involved in each level of the discussion and decision making. I am totally confident in his medical skills, and could not have asked for a more positive experience.
Dr De Puy is a great Cardiologist. He takes time with his patients and listens to them. This last appointment he was running behind because he had taken extra time with a few patients. He kept apologizing to me. I told him that as long as he was taking his time answering his patients questions then it was fine. He is very nice and very thorough. Listens to my concerns and tries to answer them and to find solutions. Excellent doctor.
Dr De Puy is very professional easy to talk to and he is really concerned about his patients! And his assistant is amazing as well she makes you feel right at home .This team is amazing and I would recommend to everyone!
Dr DePuy was a delight, as was his office staff. He explained everything thoroughly in a manner that was easily understood. He made me feel confident that my symptoms will be carefully explored but I am comfortable that I'm not in danger of a heart episode in the interim.
Dr. De Puy may very well be one of the best doctors I've ever had the pleasure of interacting with. He is exceptionally knowledgeable and helpful, has a fantastic attitude and demeanor about him, and was one of the more pleasant doctors I've ever come across, not just at our lady of the lake, but perhaps ever. For obvious reasons, I hope I don't ever have to see him again at his work. However, if I do have problems again concerning my heart, Dr. De Puy will be the first one I call.
