About Dr. Denzil Louis Moraes, MD

Dr. Moraes completed an internal medicine internship and residency at St. James Hospital (also in Dublin, Ireland) and Trinity College, as well as a second internal medicine residency at the Boston University School of Medicine in MA. Dr. Moraes also completed Fellowships in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology. He is Board Certified in interventional cardiology, cardiovascular disease and internal medicine. Dr. Moraes visits patients at the Baton Rouge, Gonzales and Denham Springs clinics.

My daddy was a patient of Dr Moraes for several years up till 8-6-24 we received phone call from my parents home in Denham that he was gone and my moms neighbor tried to revive him over 30 mins. He was on life support until others arrived from out of town . But Dr Moraes remained available for my family anytime we needed to talk to him. When we requested he be my husband's attending but his office wasn't accepting new patients and he recommended Dr David Moll and he has been what we'd prefer in my husband's cardiologist

Horrible from the start. My referral was lost twice. Enormous red tape just to get an appointment. After waiting 6 months ( yes, 6 months) and taking off work, I arrived at the office and they had no record of my appointment. Sorry, I was told, the schedule is full. I could stay and wait to see if the doctor can see me, but he has a full schedule. I do not know even how to respond with the level of incompetence and callousness I was shown. I will not be back.
