Back in 2020 I had 5 broken ribs and punctured lung from falling from a roof. Dr. Moore operated on me and saved my life. I am very thankful God let us cross paths. He doesn't have the greatest bedside manner but he knows his stuff and that means everything to me. I recommend him 100%.
Not only did he fail to tell me what should be expected but I can't get any more pain medication and I'm still sore! He also left part of the string that he used to tie my sternum back together hanging out of my chest. I think Dr. Moore is probably as good as any other doctor, I just wished I had took my chances with the "widow maker" the cardiac doctor said I had. If it had not been for the Cardiac liaison Don Johnson he would have had two stars but Don was such a terrific guy if I was rating him I would give him five stars with a cherry on top.
I went to see him after my regular cardiologist had moved away and my next appointment was with Dr Moore. This was during the Covid pandemic and the hospital was requiring everyone to wear a mask. Dr Moore didn't bother to wear a mask. He came in, sat at his desk and said, so you had word word procedure. I said yes, he said how do you feel, I said fine and he said ok make an appointment for 3 months. He never moved from his desk and didn't bother using his stethoscope. I never went back
Dr. Paul Moore, is one of the top doctors and has a very good bed side manor. He performed my bypass surgery. I was discharged 3 day's later from the surgery. I don't know if this was because the hospital needed the bed space or because of my health insurance coverage, but I would have needed to feel better to die at that time. I am VERY VERY GRATEFUL to him for saving my life! :)) Reason I didn't give him 5 STARS!: It's now about 8 weeks after surgery. around week 6-7 after surgery, he cut off my pain medication even though, I am still having pain around the incision. He referred me to a pain clinic and they can't get me in for a few weeks. I understand that KY law, is stopping him, but I'm suffering with pain and discomfort. Several calls to his office to try and get some medication to tide me over have proven to be pointless.
