Please let me speak to the donors explain our experience. Nurse would hurry before donors came to visit getting place in order. Put on a fake attitude same one that use around doctors. Nurse practitioner touched all on child's butt (doing exam) use the same finger places in child's mouth. Talked to multiple charge nurse, social workers, doctors, ect Didn't provided the level of care we expect from a NICU and hospital staff. Monitors would going off for hours, didn't check the babies unless it was assessment time. Our child got a horrible diaper rash bleeding from his butt. Their solution was to leave him naked peeing and pooping on a pad. We were told they ONLY changed diapers every 3 hours period. The doctor would make a plan nurses refused to follow. "They don't listen to the doctors." Nurses were sick, coughing all over didn't wash hands, refused to wear gloves, or mask. Even when asked. They kept putting their fingers (no gloves and didn't wash hands) in our child's mouth, even when asked not to. Our child end up with a cold having to stay weeks longer. They told us our child wouldn't go home until we agreed to unnecessary tests. The speech lady Brittany would tell the doctors lies. We showed up early one assessment time, she had the bottle holding our child down forces him to drink it. Nobody in their right mind treats babies like most of them nurses did. We told the doctors not to let her near our baby for child's safety. Next day our child got to go home. We were told they didn't have enough babies were keeping our child to have a job. Was told over and over by nurses our child would go home tomorrow.... tomorrow that became 6 long miserable stressful weeks. Nurses made up their own opinions, conniving, would tell us totally different things and lie. Baby and mother drug tested multiple times for no reason. We would love to see them have a surprise drug test. There were a few good nurses. They would do all the work while the other sat on their butt. We were terrified one of the nurses was going to harm our child. They came in jerking them around, picking them up, pinning them down, they would restrain our childs arms, saying things like baby hard to handle, restrain order so baby can't move. It's a BABY!. Was told I had to be there every day every 3 hours at assessment times. To find out visiting is anytime. Never giving any rules or information about the place or told anything. When asked was told they couldn't print it. Was told the siblings couldn't visit to later find out they could. Misleading, one person say one thing for the next to say the opposite. Did I say conniving! Was told only 2 visitor's seeing families have multiple visitors. Highly frowned on breastfeeding. Constantly, suggest giving formula, bottle, and pacifier. We told them multiple times no pacifier, continue to caught them giving our child one. I gave the place breastmilk 24-7 for 6 weeks..... 6,9,12,3,6,9,12 repeat. To find they gave our child donor milk, no where did we ever agree to donor milk. We were told they were freezing all my milk to take home and giving it to our child. After 6 weeks 2 trays! They didn't give our child my cholesterm. We were told not to bring personal items they will get stolen. After getting home was called about special hearing test. Maybe deaf in one ear or both due to the antibiotics. Why wasn't we warned about this before they pumped our baby full of antibiotics multiple times. After tons of tests, spinal tap, x rays, blood test, shallow test, scope test, never to find anything. Our child had a feeding tube they pumped him so full he would vomited. It was SICK! They kept telling us they had to for him to go home. Yet when he did want to eat they refused to let us feed him on demand only every 3 hours at accessment. They let our child scream starving for hours until that 3 hours. Was told over and over our child wouldn't couldn't do this and will be behind.THEY DON'T KNOW THE POWER OF GOD! Our child did, has, and continues to thrive. Hospitals are a business all about money. Horrible!
