Mercy Health - Lourdes Hospital

I requested a pad for my bed after changing into the gown, while waiting in same day surgery. The Doctor had me do a cleanse and I still had some leakage. The nurse said no, this is a hospital and we have seen it all.. I thought that was strange. I did stay the night. I had excellent nurses and care. Due to the colon cleanse I didn't sleep the night before surgery. After settling into my room , I finally fell asleep at 2 am. At 4 am a lady came in turned on all lights shocking me awake. The nurse then said the lab is here to take blood. No one had told me at 2 lab would come at 4. Due to difficult veins I have to drink lots of water before a draw. I told her would have to drink water first. So I stayed up until 7 for the draw. It is very rude to come into a dark room where a patient is asleep and abruptly turn on all lights. Surely the lab can do better than this. Training in manners might help. The nurse was by my bed to tell me when the lab person barged in and turned on all lights. Let the nurse wake the patient and let them know what's going on. All in all good experience. Just be considerate.

The staff on site and the doctors and nurses were all incredible amazing professionals that really cared so much about my well-being. The anesthesiologist went out of his way to make sure my health was his number one concern and that really made a difference. My doctor made sure everything was taken care of was personable and did a great job The nurses were just angels. If I had any complaint whatsoever it would be the people that make the phone calls to verify the one lady needs a definite customer service skills and needs to actually I think care a little bit more about the people that she's talking to that person was less than ideal I still give five stars because everybody else was so amazing.

I brought my husband in to the ER for atrial fibrillation and chest pain. Within 35 minutes he already had IV access, labs drawn, a chest X-ray, and dose of medication. Every employee we have encountered, from the ER to Radiology, to the cardiac floor after admission, have been great. We are both appreciative of the care he has received.

I had my baby here at Lourdes, and it was such a 10/10 experience.. I have a few nurses that absolutely hit it out of the park. Ali, Becca, Heather, and Sindey (i think thats how you spell her name). They literally made my experience so memorable and I cant thank those nurses enough. They really supported and encouraged me so much. Then I had an epidural, and if you get Bridgett... yall, are going to have such a good epidural.. she talked me through the process so well. She was calm and she got it done so quick... I told that woman multiple times I loved and appreciated her so much! Then lastly, Dr. Slatter delivered my baby, and the second she walked in, there was a peace. She was calm and literally cared for me in my most vulnerable time. I hope yall have these people and get blessed as much as I did. I wish to have the same experience if I have another baby.

Excellent patient care ! Outstanding doctors. Above excellent nursing staff. All other staff are worthy of recognition as they show the same desire to meet patient needs and desires. They, too, desire to do an excellent job and are proud of the outcome as they should be. Thank you to each person who took care of me during my recent stay.
