Patient
Update: I was glad that the office manager reached out to me about my issues, and stated that I would be receiving something from their practice in the mail. I have yet to receive anything from them. I was eager to have my appointment at this office due to my other experience with Norton offices. I was contacted by the referral staff and made my appointment. They proceeded to convey that I should be there about 10-15 mins early due to being a new patient and having paperwork that I would need to fill out. I got to the office at 07:50 am and proceeded to the door that as locked I stood outside for over 10 mins before it was unlocked when I was at my car trying to call. When I finally walked into the dark/unlit office I was greeted by a unmasked staff member stating that they were closed. Puzzled I stated that I was the first appointment. She rudely stated that I could have a seat. This was very unprofessional, if you were not ready to greet your patient's with a smile and "how are you?" instead of "what are you doing here?" then don't open the doors, none the less open the doors on time. The provider was professional and you could see the passion he had for his work. I was happy that I was able to meet such a competent doctor for my son though they should invest in better staff. I say this with confidence because I too was a Norton receptionist in a pediatric specialty office, there is no excuse for the rude attitude.
