Patient Reviews

Patient

She was my doctor when I was rushed to the ER with HBP after walking three blocks with a torn ligament from a dislocated bone in my ankle which resulted in damaged nerves in my thighs and bad knees and a torn ligament after a work place injury that went untreated. During the ER visit that I was hospitalized for 3 days and asked to stay longer while many tests were performed including a stress test where I walked on a tread mill to see if pain caused me to have HBP. and my HBP went to stroke levels. When I talked with this doctor during the visit she seemed very un-knowledgeable about my medical chart, the root of my pain which Id discussed with over 15 nurses and doctors. and she prescribed me meds that cost nearly $1000 while telling me my heart was healthy but that I had an irregular heart beat. I was even told that I diagnosed myself with HBP due to having pain walking and that I was incorrect. I have medical documentation that shows I have a torn ligament and that I need surgery. She kept ignoring what I told her during the ER visit so I didn't return to her though I begin to take her HBP/heart meds. Back tracking to the meds she prescribed, 81mg pain pills and I told the nurse I didn't want perc's and that I would like IBP or Tylenol but 650mg or more. I was not diagnosed with diabetes and I was also prescribed $890 diabetic medication without an explanation at all or anything being noted on my medical records. I have a good cholesterol and I'm not pre diabetic. So months later, I run out of HBP meds and I begin to have issues so I return to her for refills and she ignored me telling her I took the meds daily for HBP and she kept insisting that I didn't take my HBP meds. She also ignored that I told her I have untreated work comp' injuries and that I have torn ligaments and bad knees. I told her that I walk at my current job and she kept insisting I need to walk daily, eat healthy food and try work out routines. She was so rude, short and ignorant that the man who came in to train with her or assist her looked disturbed. And my mom was in the room the entire time. We also waited over 45 min To be seen and to come to nothing but "a torn ligament will never heal on its own. Go to another doctor." I always tell people to record their doctors interactions with them because they would be so ashamed of how they behave if other people could listen to them. She was so ignorant that I will not return to her. I know doctors get a lot of patients but she seemed so drunk and unprofessional when she kept acting like I didn't tell her what my medical history was. She refused to give me any pain pills or pain ointment but I know I have to see a primary doctor. When I told her that I take two HBP pills and that I have to take another one at night for chest pains and that Tylenol 650mg over the counter pills aren't working anymore, she acted like she was offended and told me to see a primary doctor. I simply asked her if I needed a higher dosage for HBP or another HBP pill and for a good pain pill like IBP and she couldn't help me. When my HBP was taken by the nurse, I was not allowed to look that the monitor and told not to peep at the reading. And when the doctor told me my HBP was actually low, I told her I was shocked because I have chest pressure and I felt drained from walking. I also told her I take my HBP at work daily and it's always high. She was just unprofessional and seemed ignorant as a doctor. She looked unintelligent acting as if she didn't recall anything Id just told her about my medical history.

Extremely rude and very unprofessional!! She wouldn't talk to anyone other than the patient that was completely passed out and not able to respond. She yelled at the nurse trying to help her in front of patients and other colleagues. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. She needs her bedside manners readjusted and knocked off if there high horse. 2 star review speaks volumes! She needs to quit of be fired If she is that unhappy. I will send her and all these review to the board. And don't bother to respond with your generic response that you've done on everybody else in these reviews. Because you're not serious and DON'T CARE!

★★★★★

She is a very good cardiologist, had a stroke two years ago and I am good to go with seeing her. And her nurse practitioner I cannot think of her name it's wonderful. I would recommend the both of them and then another cardiologist they work closely together Dr Umant. Five stars for the of three of them

Patient

My grandmother was in the waiting room for 2 1/2 hours and to be rude and disrespectful to her during her visit. My grandmother attempted to ask her to review her medical records and she ignored her and told her "Let's stay on subject". She also ignored my grandmother's medication history and continued to interrupt her questions about her overall health. We are very dissatisfied and will be seeking another cardiologist immediately. Front office staff did not apologize for the long wait.

Patient

Saw her in the ER over the weekend. Had a very bad attitude and was unorganized. Did not put in medication increase as we had discussed and admitted me and tried scheduling a procedure when I had made it clear I could not stay overnight and wanted to try increasing my AFIB meds first.
