Patient
Very disappointed with the care my mother received from her cardiologist team. A PA visited briefly after her ECHO (in the hallway) and said that Dr. H would be up to talk with us about the ECHO results but they would most likely put her on Eliquis to prevent clots. Dr. H never came to her room and sent orders for discharge. The nurse had to explain and answer all our questions. She was admitted with atrial fibrillation and was being discharged, while to a lesser degree, while still in afib!!!!! The Hospitalist said she was still in rapid afib on the day they discharged her but her cardiologist was leading her care. Do not charge us for any doctor visit on March 6, 2019. You did not visit. Yes, you read the ECHO, but you did not communicate directly with us. Big Pharma called and thanks you for prescribing their very, very, very expensive drug that someone on a fixed income cannot afford.
