Baptist Health Primary Care - Frankfort East

I am only giving them one star because there is not an option to give zero stars. I have been going to this doctors office for years. Last year I went to Baptist Health to get a doctors note. I saw AW who provided me with a doctors note and ordered blood work. I cancelled my appointment for the blood work because I was ill and didnt want to spread my illness to the office staff nor patients. My appointment was cancelled several days before my appointment was scheduled. I also had an appointment on 11/9/22 for an annual examine that is a preventative service. When I received my medical bill for the office visit I made for a doctor's note I noticed the bill was well over $200. I called Blue Cross Blue Shield to see why the bill was so high being that I only received a doctors note and a prescription that was called in. I was advised by the representative that I was charged for blood work order that was ordered by the doctor. I advised them the service was never rendered I cancelled the appointment. I was advised that I would need to speak to the office manager at Baptist Health East whom was no help at all. They could clearly see the service was not rendered and refused to reverse the charges. The office staff advised they see where I cancelled my appointment. The blood work was rendered on 11/9/22. I was in the office for about 20 minutes with AW and I believe the bill said I was in there for about 40 something minutes.I would advise anyone that is a patient here to watch your bill closely to ensure you are not being charged for services that are not rendered.

I'm a generally healthy and most of the time patient person. I just need two prescriptions refilled on a regular basis and this office won't do that without overcharging me for in office visits. I don't want to be sold unnecessary, and more importantly not asked for, vaccines or procedures. I'm done at this practice, and I'm sure they are fine being done with me as well. -Neal Anderson

I have been with this clinic for years. The processes and procedures have changed. Their goal now seems to be maximizing profit rather than focusing on patient health and well-being.

I have consistently had a positive experience with my chosen provider, Angela Wilkins. She listens to my concerns and addresses each one to make sure I understand next steps prior to leaving. I appreciate the personalized care and highly recommend Baptist Frankfort.

Called to make a appointment, been with office for 25 years, have not been to the Dr for a minute, sick with the flu cannot see me until Thursday cause they have no appointments for new patients!!!! Wow!!!!! You all really care for your patients, sad!!!! But I can make an appointment in a week just so I will no longer be a new patient!!!!
