Basic visit - not much differences from past visits except I had recently been seen at OrthoCincy regarding my knee. Also told Dr. Tehrani that I wasn't refilling my scripts as they expired since late August due to price increases. He wrote 3 new scripts for me to "shop around" for better price.

Reps were very helpful and courteous making sure all was ok with me if I had any question need answer for her or the Doctor to answer or they could help me with.

I always look forward to meeting with Dr. Tehrani. He's always friendly and was to walk with about any issues I may be experiencing. His relaxed demeanor is calming and reassuring.

I will never go to this cardiologist or his group again. Avoid them if at all possible and use the group at Christ Hospital. He was not attentive at my consult and misdiagnosed my cardio test results. He told me I had no blockage but we should do an angiogram because of my family history. Turns out I had a number of blockages (70%). He is a D.O. and is not allowed to insert stents. He never shared that with me. During the procedure another surgeon had to step in and insert two stents. The medical record says he shared all the details with me. I never saw him after the initial consult. My family was told of blockage in one artery. I was not told about a second blockage until a follow up with a PA two weeks later. It infuriated me. On top of all that, there were no orders for my diabetes while I was at St. Elizabeth Hospital. I was never tested nor was given any insulin before or after my procedure or during my over night stay. How does a cardiologist not make sure a heart patient with insulin dependent diabetes is tested before meals and given appropriate doses of insulin? I was not tested nor took any insulin until my wife brought my testing kit and insulin pens the next morning. I had to test myself and take my own insulin. When I complained loudly to the hospital about my care, they had a quality review of my case and sent me a letter agreeing with my concerns but stated I was properly "monitored". How can you monitor a diabetic without testing glucose levels or drawing blood? If at all possible, don't ever go to Dr. Tehrani or use the St. Elizabeth Cardiologists Group. I no longer trust St. Elizabeth Hospital to properly care for me or my family. I will never voluntarily have treatment there. They put my life at risk.
